Delivery when the snow flies
This corner of the Southtowns catches lake-effect bands that bury a driveway overnight and freeze the ground solid underneath. We keep servicing units right through it, but the truck needs a plowed, cleared path to reach the stall, and the unit needs to sit on ground that will not heave. Where possible we stage on gravel or a hard pad set back from the drifting so a week of storms does not strand it.
When you book a cold-season rental, tell us who plows the site and when. If we know the lot is clear by a certain hour, we time our service run to match and keep the unit dependable even during a stretch of hard winter.
Setting up on hill-country lots
North Boston lots run to slopes, gravel drives, and open acreage, and a porta potty only works right when it is level and stable. On a graded pad or a firm gravel apron it stays put; on soft or pitched ground we shim and choose a flatter spot nearby. Point out the septic runs, buried lines, and low wet areas and we will keep the unit clear of all of them.
Choosing units for work or guests
A framing crew or a barn project up here does fine with rugged standard units and a handwashing station, cleaned on a set schedule through the build. A backyard graduation or a country wedding calls for flushing deluxe stalls, an ADA-accessible unit, and often the climate-controlled restroom trailer, which is a comfort worth having when an evening in the hills turns cool. We size the order to the crowd so nothing is overkill and nobody waits in line.
