Placing units near the lakeshore
Shoreline lots come with their own quirks: soft, sandy ground in spots, exposure to a steady lake wind, and grades that fall toward the water. We set units on the firmest, most sheltered footing the truck can reach, a driveway, a paved apron, a gravel pad, so they stay level and do not shift in a blow. On a bluff or a sloped lakeside yard we pick a flatter spot back from the edge and keep clear of the septic and buried lines.
Tell us where the wind hits hardest and which ground stays firm, and we position the unit so it is steady, reachable, and out of the way of the view people came for.
The lakeshore season
Summer along this shore fills with waterfront weddings, club events, graduation parties, and reunions timed to the warm weekends, and the work follows, dock and seawall projects, boathouse repairs, lakeside home builds. For a shoreline celebration, flushing deluxe stalls, an ADA-accessible unit, and the climate-controlled restroom trailer keep an outdoor evening comfortable even when the breeze picks up off the water. For the trades, standard units and a handwashing station cover a crew on a set service day.
We size either order to the crowd or the crew so the setup matches a lakeside lot rather than dominating it.
Delivery when the weather turns
The shore does not get a pass in winter, wind, ice, and lake-effect snow all sweep in off Erie, and the ground can be soft in the spring thaw. We keep units in service through it, but the truck needs a plowed, cleared path and the stall needs firm footing so it does not sink or tip. On exposed lakeside lots we set the unit with the wind in mind and check that it stays level between visits, adjusting the spot if the season calls for it.
